eManage tracks every aspect of your vending business allowing you to manage your business not have it manage you. Other companies offer a generic vending machine inventory program that tracks inventory in machines but does not it does not track inventory on your shelves. It does not track where you bought your product or what you paid so you cannot run net sales numbers. It does not track sales tax or commission. It does not track where you have your machines or details on the location.

Parts

We learned long ago NOT to sell machines by themselves.

Years ago we sold machine only packages. We stopped doing so after not a single person was able to develop a successful business. While machines are a MAJOR portion of your business there are many other components needed.

Buying machines only is like buying a used french fry machine and a used milkshake machine and expecting that you're going to build a successful hamburger business and compete with McDonald’s. It is just not going to happen. 60% of all new restaurants go out of business not because the food is poor but because the owners don’t have the tools and knowledge they need to run a business. You never see a McDonalds go out of business.

Special Challenges With Used Machines
Outdated Technology
Many older machines do not have the latest payment technology. They cannot take chip cards or mobile phone payments. These problems can be corrected by replacing the credit card reader but the firmware in the machine may not accept a new reader.
Questionable Condition of the Machines
You don’t know how a previous owner has treated their machine or what they may have done to it. One person took the internal drink door off their machine feeling it was unnecessary. They wondered why the refrigeration system struggled to keep drinks cold and leaked water. Imagine taking your refrigerator door off and expecting your food to stay cold. The new owner had to replace the entire refrigeration system in addition to the drink door.
No Warranty
Used machines come with no warranty so you are paying full retail prices for parts and your need for parts is greater depending on how the machine was maintained.
Parts Not Available
People and brokers selling used machines do not have access to all parts. Our manufacturer refers all parts orders to us and we are only able to sell parts to our operators. Those buying used machines sometimes purchase additional machines to use for parts.
Money In The Wrong Person’s Pocket
Credit card readers are set up to deposit funds in the machine owner’s bank account. Transfer of ownership not handled properly results in funds being deposited into the wrong person’s account. This happens with used machine purchases.

At the end of the day, what your investment returns to you is much more important than the amount of the investment itself.
